Nikao Side Table

Nikao: from japanese に顔, meaning "two faces".

Nikao side table is a sculptural piece of furniture based on transformation concepts of circular geometries. A cylinder is chosen as the base of its useful solution, and this is altered by simple compression and subtraction operations in order to lighten its mass, giving movement to the piece.

Each signed and numbered piece of furniture is conveniently packed in a wooden box for maximum care.
